Electronic Discovery Features

Features of the Xecuritas mx2020 electronic discovery solution include:

• Full-text index. Before going into the archive, each message is indexed across both the header (subject, to, from, date) and the body of the email and attachment. This allows for a comprehensive yet fast search.
• Flexible search. In searching both emails and attachments, Xecuritas provides advanced stemming, where variations of words are found in addition to the word itself (e.g., a search for go will find go as well as went and going).

  Investigators can search by message sender, recipient, date range, subject content or body content.
• Full access to all historical mail. Search is conducted across all storage media, regardless of type. So investigators can find and retrieve even those messages that have been archived on offline storage, such as tape.
• Helpful classifications. Investigators can see which messages in the investigation have been reviewed by other investigators using the reviewed classification. Other available classifications include privileged/ non-privileged, confidential/non-confidential, and responsive/non-responsive.
  
  Additional classifications can be created to meet an organization’s specific investigative needs.
• Complete history for each message in an investigation. Investigators can see all comments and classifications for each message, as well as who reviewed each message and when.
• Full export capabilities. Messages can be exported in a number of formats.
• Privileges for outside counsel. Using a Web-based user interface, external users, such as outside legal counsel, can access the messages in an investigation remotely and classify those messages, add comments, or export them.
