Charisse CastagnoliCharisse Castagnoli

Charisse Castagnoli is the Vice President of Business Development at Britestream Networks, a software company that provides plug-and-play SSL security. Ms. Castagnoli has over 20 years experience in the information technology industry, including 12 years in developing and evangelizing computer security products. Prior to joining Britestream, she was Director of Business Development for Internet Security Systems Inc. (ISS), where she formed partnerships with Nokia Internet Communications and Check Point Software Technologies. Previously, Ms. Castagnoli held positions as technical evangelist for Haystack Labs, an early intrusion detection company, and VP of Engineering and OEM Sales for SecureWare Inc. In the eight years prior to that, she developed and managed complex UNIX systems, including telephony systems and supercomputers.

Peter DolchPeter Dolch

Peter Dolch is the President and Co-Founder of Thaumaturgix, a 10-year old technology consulting and software development company that has twice been on the Inc. 500 Fastest Growing Private Companies list. With more than 14 years of experience in the information technology field, Mr. Dolch has maintained the consistently profitable organic growth that Thaumaturgix has experienced since its inception. Before launching Thaumaturgix, Mr. Dolch worked at CambridgeTechnology Partners and ICon. Mr. Dolch has been an early investor in and founding board member of several companies that have seen substantial success, including Media Metrix—a web audience measurement firm that was purchased by NPD—and CheetahMail—an email marketing and customer intelligence company that was recently acquired by Experian. Mr. Dolch’s current activities include a founding board seat on Bodies Electric, a collaborative software company, and an advisory position with Transclick, a real-time translation software company.

John S. IngallsJohn S. Ingalls

John Ingalls has been Chief Financial Officer for two public Internet software companies: Raptor Systems, which went public in 1996 and is now part of Symantec, and Software.com, which he took public in 1999. He also was Chief Financial Officer of Chrystal Software, a subsidiary of Xerox, and Vice President of Corporate Finance for Clean Harbors, an environmental services company which went public in 1987. Currently, John is investing in technology companies through RaptorFund, his private investment fund, and also serves on the board of directors of two San Diego-based software companies, Anonymizer, Inc. (www.anonymizer.com) and VOCEL, Inc. (www.vocel.com). As a former Managing Director in the investment banking department of the Bank of Boston, he has extensive experience with capital markets, corporate development, corporate governance, audit committees, and the legal issues facing public companies.

Sam LevineSam Levine

Sam Levine has helped several companies bridge the gap between technological and business objectives. During his tenure at Xecuritas Mr. Levine held various executive positions, most recently Chief Operating Officer, and served as a pioneer in the efforts of the technical development team. Prior to joining Xecuritas he was Chief Technology Officer & Product Manager at Cambridge Intelligence Agency/WiredEmpire, a funded start-up that offered Web-based applications for email response and email marketing management. Previously, Mr. Levine was at Synaxis, a network and groupware consulting firm, where he was responsible for application development and managed over 25 software projects.

Shaun McConnonShaun McConnon

Mr. McConnon served as CEO of next-generation security company, Okena, Inc., from inception to its successful acquisition by Cisco Systems in April 2003. He also served as CEO of Raptor Systems, a leading firewall security company, directing it through a successful IPO and then its sale to Axent Technologies, later acquired by Symantec. Prior to joining Raptor, Mr. McConnon held various executive positions with Sun Microsystems, most recently as Managing Director of Australian and New Zealand operations. He currently serves as CEO of Q1 Labs, a leading information security company in Waltham, Massachusetts.

Robert SteinkraussRobert Steinkrauss

Robert Steinkrauss is Chairman, President and CEO of Ingrian Networks, which offers a security appliance that encrypts critical data in applications and databases. Mr. Steinkrauss comes to Ingrian Networks with a track record of over 25 years of executive leadership, having grown and led a number of successful ventures during that span. Mr. Steinkrauss was previously President and CEO of Taqua Systems, where he raised $11.5 million in fourth round funding. A veteran of the security and networking markets, Mr. Steinkrauss was Chairman of the Board of Authentica, a provider of content security software. Mr. Steinkrauss was also Vice President and General Manager of the WAN systems group at Lucent Technologies. In addition, he was President and Co-CEO of Xedia Corporation, where he oversaw the company’s revenue growth from $500,000 to $21 million over two years and sold the company to Lucent for $246 million. Mr. Steinkrauss also served as Chairman and CEO of Raptor Systems, took the company public in 1996, boosted revenue 273% year over year, and delivered quarterly profits of $1.5 million. Raptor Systems was sold to Axent Technologies in 1998 for $240 million.
